Overview
Dr. Ahmed G. Zedan earned his medical degree from Mansoura University in Mansoura, Egypt, where he also did a residency in cardiovascular medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, followed by a fellowship in cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami and another fellowship in electrophysiology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Dr. Zedan, who has been in practice since 2007, is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He treats adult and senior patients with cardiovascular disease and heart rhythm problems and specializes in complex cardiac arrhythmias, bradycardias and device management, atrial fibrillation and congestive heart failure (cardiomyopathy).
