Overview
Dr. McGehee is a native of Ruston, LA. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at LSU in Shreveport. He remains an LSU football fan to this day. He completed his residency in Family Medicine here in Murfreesboro through the University of Tennessee. He has a particular interest in a branch of medicine called Lifestyle Medicine (LM) which incorporates what we eat/drink, activity levels, sleep, socialization, stress management, and avoidance of toxic substances at part of our overall health. His incorporation of LM alongside traditional Western medicine is an effort to treat people holistically and empower them with tools to bring significant change and to prevent potential adverse health outcomes.
In his free time, he enjoys returning to Louisiana to be in the outdoors. He likes traveling, campfires, exercise, eating/cooking good food, listening to music, and hosting friends and family at his home. His faith is important to him, and he is involved with a local church.
