Overview
Dr. Emily Wild is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treatment of orthopedic trauma, including fracture fixation, fracture deformity correction, and bony infection treatment. She treats pelvic and hip-related fractures, as well as joint fractures of the lower extremities. Her research interests include fracture healing, deformity correction, and improvement of patient outcomes. Dr. Wild is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Wild's goal is to get patients back to their livelihoods and the activities they enjoy. She keeps up with current training and practices in an effort to give patients the best possible surgical and nonsurgical outcomes. As a teenager, Dr. Wild herself was hospitalized at Cardinal Glennon with an orthopedic injury.
