Alejandro Gru, MD is the Leonard C. Harber Professor of Dermatology and Director of Dermatopathology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He is also the Director of the Dermatopathology Fellowship and holds a joint appointment with the Pathology & Cell Biology Department. Dr. Gru received his MD from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina. He is an associate editor for the Journal of Cutaneous Pathology and Seminars in Diagnostic Pathology. He serves on the editorial board of numerous academic journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Journal of Surgical Pathology, Modern Pathology, and Histopathology, among others.
