She previously served as associate director of pediatric radiology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital Northwest and assistant professor at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Springdale, Arkansas. She then completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Oakwood Southshore Hospital in Trenton, Michigan, and a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She is proficient in Spanish.
