He has lectured extensively on minimally invasive neurovascular interventions including intra-arterial therapy for acute stroke and carotid artery stenting, having safely performed hundreds of these interventions over many years. Dr. Robinson's overarching objective in managing patients with neurovascular diseases is to guide the patient to the safest least invasive management option that will optimize the likelihood of maintaining (or restoring) full functional independence and a full life. This will often results in the decision not to perform surgery, or even a minimally invasive intervention, but instead to optimize medical management, if this is felt to pose the least risk for the patient.
