Dr. Joly Tawadrous

Dr. Tawardrous is a board-certified pediatrician who works throughout central Florida to cover patient care for Orlando Health Physician Associates when providers are out of the office. Her expertise includes: General pediatrics Preventive care Newborn care Lactation and breastfeeding support Behavioral health care ADHD diagnosis and management Diet and nutrition Asthma management Dr. Tawadrous’ Training Dr. Tawadrous received dual bachelor’s degrees in biomedical sciences and behavioral healthcare from the University of South Florida in Tampa, graduating summa cum laude. She earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville and completed her residency in pediatrics at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. About Dr. Tawadrous Dr. Tawadrous is certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Medical Association and Coptic Medical Association of North America. She has research experience in mental health outcomes in adolescents and has presented at medical conferences. Dr. Tawadrous is co-author of the Pediatric Health Education Preventative Medicine Handbook, which is used on overseas health education service trips made by the Coptic Medical Association of North America. She enjoys mentoring high school and college students and has volunteered with several organizations around Central Florida, including Camp Boggy Creek and Special Olympics. Outside of work, Dr. Tawadrous likes spending time with family, traveling, gardening, kayaking, cycling, weightlifting and ping-pong. She is fluent in English and Arabic.
