Overview
Sion Kim, MD, was drawn to Intermountain Health out of her desire to be part of a company that prioritizes excellent patient care and work-life balance for its providers and staff. She enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and serving as a health advocate for them. Dr. Kim thrives on the challenges of chronic medical management cases, where she can help patients by promoting lifelong healthy habits.
Before joining Intermountain Health, she worked with the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, as an assistant professor. Dr. Kim earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and her undergraduate degree from Harvard University. She completed her residency at Lincoln Family Medicine Residency in Nebraska. Dr. Kim has participated in primary care research on topics related to end-of-life care, diabetes, obesity, and nutrition.
