Overview

I began my mental health career and training through my B.S. in Psychology at St. Peter’s College in New Jersey. I began working in mental health after moving to SWFL in 2007. I started in adult and pediatric crisis units, as well as detox in a Baker Act receiving facility, followed by a dual-diagnosis and chemical dependence hospital with 3 separate units, and a children’s shelter. After learning more about psychiatric care through work experience, I pursued my Physician Assistant education at South University in Tampa and immediately transitioned into psychiatric outpatient care treating patients via telehealth services through the entire state of Florida. I believe in a collaborative approach to care with a focus on patient education and safe, evidence-based treatment. I have worked with all age ranges from 6 and up, helping patients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD and more. At Family Care Center I now provide in-person care locally, continue telehealth services as needed, as well as treatment with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for my patients.

His top areas of expertise are Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Bipolar Disorder (BPD), and Major Depression.
