Paul R. Shin, M.D., earned his undergraduate degree with distinction in biology and his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Charlottesville, VA. Before starting his residency he completed a 1 year internship in general surgery with the Emory University Hospitals and Clinics, Atlanta, GA.
