Overview
Dr. Baker earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. He then remained at the Medical College of Georgia where he completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery. Following this, he completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Traumatology at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Baker is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and has over nine years of experience.
Dr. Baker specializes in orthopedic trauma and complex fracture care including pelvis and acetabular fractures, peri-articular fractures of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle. As well as post-traumatic deformity, nonunion, malunion, and reconstructive surgery.
His special interests include pelvis and acetabular fractures, tibial plateau fractures, and circular (Ilizarov) and spatial frame techniques.
In his spare time, Dr. Baker enjoys spending time with family, weight lifting, Crossfit, golf, and mountaineering.
