MediFind was founded with the goal of empowering patients with information and content in support of good health and well-being. In support of this goal and because of the costs that we incur in providing this content and information, MediFind accepts and serves advertisements on our website.

In addition to advertisement revenue, MediFind may also receive funding from sponsored content, and various arrangements with third parties, such as affiliate programs. Please rest assured that in ALL CASES, we never allow anyone to influence, edit or determine the content that we provide and serve to you.

1. Advertising Selection

MediFind is the sole determiner of the advertisements that are accepted and displayed on our website. MediFind may reject, cancel, or remove advertisements at any time and for any reason. MediFind also solely decides where and when advertisements and sponsored content appear on our website.

2. Identification of Ads and Sponsored Content

MediFind will in all cases seek to maintain a clear and apparent separation between editorial content on the one hand, and advertisements and sponsored content on the other hand so that each category of content is readily apparent to the user. To the extent that any advertiser or sponsor provides ads or sponsored content that does not clearly identify the nature of the content as advertising or sponsored content, MediFind will use its reasonable efforts to reject the content and/or require the advertiser or sponsor to revise the content accordingly. MediFind is not responsible for any content on an advertiser’s or sponsor’s website.

3. Advertising Restrictions

MediFind will not knowingly accept any advertisement or sponsored content that is factually inaccurate or misleading. MediFind will not accept any advertisements that relate to alcohol, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, gambling, pornography or tobacco or any other illegal product or service. All advertisements must clearly identify the advertiser. Any advertisement that could be misconstrued as editorial content must be clearly labeled by the advertiser as an advertisement.

4. Sponsored Content

MediFind may make sponsored content available through our website. While this content is subject to our editorial policy and is generally reviewed by our editorial staff, MediFind cannot and does not take responsibility for the accuracy of such sponsored content. MediFind will make every effort to ensure that such sponsored content is labeled as such using phrases such as “sponsored by our partners,” “sponsored by,” “from our sponsor,” or “brought to you by.”

5. Compliance with Laws

MediFind requires that all advertisers comply with applicable laws and regulations including those that apply to pharmaceutical advertising. In the case of pharmaceutical advertising, such advertising must be in strict compliance with, without limitation, FDA guidelines. MediFind cannot and will not assume any obligation to monitor its advertiser’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
