Overview
Mark J. Micciche, DPM, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified surgical podiatrist. His interests involve fracture care and limb salvage as well as routine and reconstructive foot surgery and ankle surgery. Dr. Micciche has decades of experience in evaluating and treating people of all ages for foot and ankle concerns, including offering non-surgical treatments.|Dr. Micciche obtained his premedical degree from The University of Scranton. He then went on to earn his doctorate degree from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. Nicole Branning, MHA, DPM, is a surgical podiatrist specializing in conditions of the foot and ankle. She cares for children and adults, performing procedures to treat foot conditions like ingrown toenails, bunions, sports injuries and correction of hammertoes and flat feet. She also provides diabetic foot care for wounds and other complications. Dr. Branning has a special interest in fracture care and limb salvage, particularly in patients with diabetes, who may have infections in their heel or surrounding soft tissue.|“I strive to be a strong advocate for patients and their families and innovate medical and surgical plans that align with patient goals,” she says, adding that she prioritizes interdisciplinary, team-based management.|Dr. Branning earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatry in Philadelphia. After medical school, she completed a residency at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. She is board certified in foot surgery by, and is a fellow of, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is also board certified in Podiatric Medicine by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine with added qualification in Wound Care and Amputation Prevention.|“I was inspired to practice medicine from my mother, who lost her life to a medical error in 2007,” Dr. Branning says.|A native of NEPA, Dr. Branning is committed to serving her neighbors, family and friends.
