Dr. Monitto's clinical research interest is pediatric pain management and her basic science research involves assessing the impact of epigenetic gene regulation on the development of resistance to chemotherapeutic agents in cancer. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia and the International Anesthesia Research Society.
