Overview
As a long-standing advocate for women's health, Dr. DeJong believes in providing education to empower women to make informed choices and to lead healthy lives. She strives to provide comprehensive, holistic and compassionate care throughout a woman's life that is patient-centered and evidence-based. She also aims to provide affirming care for transgender and gender nonconforming patients. She completed a fellowship in Addiction Medicine in order to help more effectively integrate women's health care and substance use care. Her clinical interests include family-centered maternity care; office gynecology; minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, family planning, and contraception. Additional interests include: Well-woman care; adolescent care; mental health; general addiction medicine and substance use disorders in pregnancy.
