Sarith Keo is a physician assistant, who is a board-certified PA working in hematology/oncology. After graduating from Whitman College, he worked in clinical research at the VA Puget Sound in Seattle and found his interest in research and patient care for individuals of diverse backgrounds. He ultimately graduated from the UW MEDEX NW PA program in 2015 and was recognized with the Richard H. Layton MD Award for Commitment to Underserved Populations through his clinical practicum. He initially started his professional career at the University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center caring for hematology patients with a focus on sickle cell disease and then expanded his role in both hematology and oncology patients. His philosophy remains providing quality care through an educational approach by breaking down complex medical topics and allowing patients to be involved in their healthcare decisions. He approaches hematology and oncology care holistically by listening to patients and incorporating both data and clinical experience. While out of the office, he is a personal trainer and fitness instructor at night and during the weekends. Additionally, he has a shiba inu and enjoys traveling the globe. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, road trips exploring the Pacific Northwest, attending sporting events (Go Sounders!
