Dr. Niemann serves as the Founder and Medical Director of Foot and Ankle Clinics of Arizona, PLC.Dr. Spencer Niemann began his career in Podiatric Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona in 2008. Dr. Niemann completed a three year medical and surgical residency training program at the Southern Arizona Veterans Health Care System in Tucson, Arizona. His residency included surgical training under the direction of many of Arizonas leading Podiatrists, and Foot and Ankle Orthopedists. He attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois where he was conferred the degree Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). He received a Bachelors of Science in Zoology from the University of Oklahoma.Dr. Niemann is currently Board Certified in both Foot Surgery, and Rearfoot and Reconstructive Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Presently, he is serving as an Adjunct Attending, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, training Podiatry Residents. Doctor Niemann lectures to other Medical Professionals at St. Josephs Medical Center and Phoenix Childrens Hospital. Two years into practice, Dr. Niemann was named TOP Doctor 2010, by Phoenix Magazine, voted on by fellow physicians.Dr. Niemann treats some of the most challenging cases a Podiatrist can treat. He thrives on offering his patients the best conservative/ non-surgical options and or the surgical options needed to correct all foot deformities. His passion is focused on the surgical treatment of bunions, pediatric and adult flatfoot, chronic arthritic conditions, and chronic ankle pain, including sports-related injuries and trauma.Dr. Niemann is one of the few Podiatrists trained to perform Ankle Replacements for end-stage ankle arthritis. He is also trained in the Lower Extremity Nerve Decompression, a procedure that has offered thousands of patients suffering from neuropathy, relief from their pain.Dr. Niemann speaks fluent Spanish and enjoys this ability to communicate with his Spanish speaking patient. Shannon Ganley is a Nurse Practitioner in Chandler, Arizona. Dr. Newswander born in Utah,  began his studies as a pre-med student at Utah State University.After graduating, he pursued his interest podiatry at the California College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Newswander completed a residency at Carl T. Hayden VA Hospital in Phoenix and opened his own practice in 2003. His research has been featured in numerous medical publications, and in several presentations and lectures around the state.Dr. Newswander is actively involved with the training process and as a Surgical Attending Physician for the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center. He's also a preceptor for the Midwestern University Medical School and has received many certifications and awards.He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Board Certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.He has received the Phoenix's Top Docs award and the Guardian Angel award from Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.Throughout his career, Dr. Newswander has served in various roles on many medical boards, including board president. Dr. Newswander has served as Chief of Surgery at Gilbert Hospital and Chief of Staff at both Gilbert and Florence Hospitals.I started my practice to create a safe, friendly place where I could help people get back up and running without pain or discomfort.  My patients are my passion.
