Over time, my practice has evolved into a mixture of caring for injury-related conditions and degenerative conditions. My practice now focuses on the care and treatment of conditions of the hip. In the past 10 years, I have had the opportunity to gain extensive experience in hip arthroscopic techniques. I treat fractures and dislocations of the hip and pelvis, osteotomy for dysplasia and deformity of the hip, and arthroscopy of sports and degenerative injuries of the hip. I perform hip replacement when it is indicated. I was born and raised in Missouri. As a boy, I worked in my father's service station. Neither of my parents attended college, and I am the first person in my family to enter the medical field. The values of hard work and commitment to continual personal improvement are lessons from my youth. I began my practice at Duke in 2000.
