Atlantic Medical Group hospitalists welcome Dr. Nivedita Alla to their team. Dr. Nivedita is board certified in internal medicine and started her career in hospital medicine at Overlook Medical Center, where she performed her internal medicine residency and also served as chief resident. Dr. Nivedita will become the first site director for the AMG hospital medicine program in the southern region, which includes Somerset and Hunterdon counties. In addition to her leadership roles, Dr. Nivedita achieved Overlook Medical Center's 2017 clinical excellence award for her commitment to quality care and education.Dr. Nivedita attained her medical degree at JSS medical College in Mysore, India. She is conversant in English and five Indian languages. When she's not caring for others, Dr. Nivedita enjoys painting.
