Dr. Meng M. Liu
Overview
Dr. Meng Liu, DPM, received her doctorate in podiatric medicine from Temple University. She completed a 3-year hospital-based residency at Roxborough Memorial Hospital, focusing on podiatric medicine and surgery. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from George Mason University.
Dr. Liu joined the team of Os Wight Foot and Ankle Institute with a special interest in the treatments of sports medicine, wound care, limb salvage, foot and ankle trauma, deformity, and reconstruction. She is passionate about holistic patient care and uses her communication skills to build long-lasting patient trust. She is committed to the health and well-being of all her patients and has an acute interest in podiatry surgical techniques and advancements in the field.
Born in China, Dr. Liu came to the United States for college and worked as a paralegal for several years before entering the medical field. In her free time, Dr. Liu enjoys traditional Chinese painting and music, as well as needle crafts, baking, hiking, and traveling.
Dr. Liu is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). Dr. Liu is affiliated with Sentara Careplex Hospital and Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.
