Overview

I am a cardiologist, with a special interest in caring for patients with heart failure, including patients with a heart transplant or LVAD (heart pump). I love being an advanced heart failure cardiologist, because I can form long-term relationships with my patients and their families. I enjoy working with patients to understand their goals, improve their quality of life, and try to increase their lifespan. I become interested in cardiology as a teenager, by watching the experiences of a family member with heart disease. My favorite moments with patients are when they are able to return to activities they enjoy, because of the treatments we have selected together.
