Taren A. Keebler, NP
Overview
Taren Keebler, FNP, became interested in nursing after her grandmother was diagnosed with ALS. After earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Tennessee Technological University, Keebler knew she wanted to have an even greater impact on her patients’ lives, so she pursued her nurse practitioner license. “I was so encouraged by the home health nurses and their willingness to teach and provide care, I wanted to learn more,” Keebler says. Building on the work of the home health nurses who first inspired her, Keebler enjoys getting to know her patients and their families while helping them better understand their healthcare. “It’s important to treat each patient as the individual they are,” she says. “When you take the time to know your patient, it builds the foundation for a care plan that’s tailored to their needs and concerns.”.
