
Overview
Dr. Saira Siddiqui, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Siddiqui specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart issues in young patients, conditions which often include congenital heart diseases, abnormal blood vessels, valve problems, and arrhythmias. She specializes in noninvasive imaging methods including echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance (MRI), cardiac computed tomography (CT) and fetal echocardiography. She also works with patients with muscular dystrophy, working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure streamlined care. Committed to providing coordinated and comprehensive care, Dr. Siddiqui works closely with primary care pediatricians and other health care providers to deliver the best possible care.After earning her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in NYC, Dr. Siddiqui performed her pediatric residency training at New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, also in New York City. She followed that up with specialized fellowship training in pediatric cardiology at the same hospital and then received additional sub-specialty training in noninvasive cardiac imaging at The Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Ohio. Prior to joining the Pediatric Cardiology practice, part of Goryeb Children’s Hospital, Dr. Siddiqui completed specialized training in quality improvement methodology through the Intermediate Improvement Science Series course, also at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.Dr. Siddiqui has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, serves on local and national committees, and has presented at national meetings. She is also passionate about education of medical students and sonographers, lectures on pediatric cardiac imaging, and serves as a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the Society of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance, and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, as well as a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
