Overview
I am board certified in internal medicine and I have been practicing urgent care medicine since 1997. I enjoy the fast pace of urgent care, as well as the opportunity to solve problems for my patients. My approach has always been to accurately diagnose and treat underlying issues, while alleviating symptoms whenever possible. My training in internal medicine, my transitional internship (mixed medicine/surgery), as well as my previous roles as medical director of an intensive care unit and emergency room have prepared me well for the practice of urgent care. Growing up, I was undecided as to whether I wanted to become a detective or a teacher. I feel that my current work in urgent care allows me to be both!.
