Sara A. Deberry, PA
Overview
Sara DeBerry’s initial experience as a physician assistant came when she began working in neurosurgery in 2019. Since that time, she has provided surgical assistance for a variety of complex and minimally invasive procedures, including microvascular decompression, vascular repair/resection and shunt placement. In addition to her neurosurgery experience, Sara also is clinically trained in trauma and general surgery and emergency/pediatric emergency medicine. Her other areas of interest and focus include pre- and post-surgery care and comprehensive wound management.Sara graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in College Station with her bachelor’s degree in Allied Health. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Sara is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball and practicing high-intensity interval training. Sara also is into “anything and everything” related to her alma mater, Texas A&M.
