Dr. David Mener is board-certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (Earn, Nose, and Throat Surgery) and a fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He received his medical degree at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York in 2010. He then completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Subsequently, he performed a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Mener's scope of practice includes both the diagnosis and treatment of Ear, Nose, and Throat problems in adults and children of all ages (from birth). His scope of practice includes endoscopic sinus surgery using stereotactic image guidance in children and adults (with special focus on chronic sinusitis, nasal/sinus polyps, and sinusitis secondary to dental disease), snoring and obstructive sleep disorders in children and adults with special training in performing partial intracapsular adenotonsillectomies in children which offer a faster recovery time and reduced surgical pain, Ear Surgery in children and adults (including tympanostomy tube placement, repairing tympanic membrane membranes (repairing ear-drums), diagnosis and excision of benign and malignant neck masses/lesions, and congenital masses (such as thyroglossal duct cysts, branchial cleft cysts, pre-auricular pits/cysts).
