A few extra minutes spent educating patients is important in promoting happy, healthy lives. | Why I entered medicine | I come from a family of nurses and, for as long as I can remember, wanted to be a nurse. After a short time as a bedside nurse, I decided I wanted more from my career and pursued the nurse practitioner route. I like the science as well as the personal touch! | Community involvement | I enjoy coach my stepson’s baseball team. | Personal interests | Aside from coaching baseball, I spend my free time jogging, bike riding, reading and vacationing.
