From the emergency department to the operating room to physical therapy, it all was so new and exciting. I greatly appreciated all the medical professionals who played a part in my care and that appreciation drew me to the field of medicine. I remember thinking if I could provide the same level of care to my patients, what a rewarding feeling that must be. Fortunately, I was right. The feeling of helping a patient drives me daily and keeps me motivated. | Community involvement | As natives of Schuylkill County, my wife and I recently moved back to help serve the area. We both felt very strongly about giving back to a community that gave so much to us.
