After my training, residency, and fellowship, I joined the faculty at Duke University and rose steadily through the ranks. In 2012, I became the Chairman of Diagnostic Radiology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. In 2013, I was recruited back to Duke Health to serve as Chairman of Radiology. Currently, I am the Chair of the Private Diagnostic Clinic Board. My clinical interests include hepatobiliary and pancreatic imaging with an emphasis on CT and MR, oncologic imaging, and abdominal interventional radiology. My research interests include CT dose reduction, clinical evaluation, and application of state of the art imaging technology with an emphasis on CT, ultrasound, and MR, dual-energy CT, and imaging technology for hepatic lesion detection and characterization. I have well over 200 articles published in the peer-reviewed literature. As Chair, I am an advocate for learners, faculty, and the institution.
