Overview
Dr. Tlanda is a ABPN certified General Psychiatrist who cares for patients between the age of 6-75. He was trained at UTMB in Galveston to obtain his medical doctorate/degree. His general psychiatry residency was completed in Baton Rouge at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital as part of the program with Louisiana State University. Subsequently he completed his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at University of Texas at Austin, Dell Medical School program. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Tlanda has worked with Avail and East Texas Behavioral Health network at numerous crisis centers, respite centers, inpatient programs, and clinics across the state of Texas through the local mental health authority system. He continues to treat a wide variety of mental health concerns in multiple healthcare settings with varying levels of severity.
