I was drawn to the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology because I saw from an early age how empowering a positive physician-patient relationship was for women of all ages. The impact of an open and trusting physician-patient relationship is immeasurable. I strive to provide my patients the care and experience that they deserve by first just listening. Listening to a patient's concerns, thoughts, and fears allows me to tailor my care to the individual and her specific needs. Whether I am providing obstetrical care, preventative and problem based gynecologic care, solutions for chronic and acute pelvic pain, or having discussions regarding advanced surgical interventions, the most important element is putting my patient's needs first. I am fortunate that I can form life-long relationships with patients from adolesence through menopause, and help them navigate their journey by being supportive and keeping them in good health. Being an Obstetrician/Gynecologist is extremely rewarding for all these reasons, but there is nothing more gratifying than helping a patient achieve her goals by preserving her health and well-being.
