Overview
Jamie Givens, FNP-C, originally from Appalachia, Virginia, found her home in Kingsport, Tennessee, over two decades ago while pursuing graduate studies at East Tennessee State University. Her deep-rooted passion for the Appalachian Highlands stems from the warmth and kindness of its people. Driven by a family history of Type 1 diabetes, she became a clinician to positively impact the lives of those facing this condition. Inspired by her mother’s dedication as an emergency room nurse at Lonesome Pine Community Hospital, Jamie thrives on building strong patient relationships and empowering them.
