Dr. Jeffrey B. Minkovitz

Uri S. Soiberman, M.D. joined Wilmer's Cornea faculty in 2016, and is an associate professor of ophthalmology and the director of the cornea fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute. Dr. Soiberman's main clinical and research focus is keratoconus, and his research has been funded by the National Eye Institute and Research to Prevent Blindness. Dr. Soiberman offers his keratoconus patients advanced surgical treatments, including corneal collagen crosslinking, deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty and other types of corneal transplants for keratoconus. Dr. Soiberman also performs endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK, DMEK, DSO) for patients with Fuchs endothelial dystrophy and corneal edema. In addition, Dr. Soiberman specializes in complex cataract surgery, and offers his patients specialty intraocular lenses (such as astigmatism correcting or multifocal lenses).
