This is a national, NCI-sponsored, cooperative group that develops, fund and conducts clinical trials at many academic and community oncology centers across the country. In her position on these committees, she collaborates with clinical research experts across the country to establish standards-of-care, oversees the conduct of existing clinical trials, develops innovative and impactful hypotheses, and formulate future clinical trials. Dr. Seetharamu is the institutional principal investigator on over 10 clinical trials, has co-authored over 50 publications and book chapters and is a sought after speaker at various regional, national and international events related to Head and Neck and Thoracic cancer. Dr. Seetharamu is also Associate Program Director of the Medical Oncology and Hematology Fellowship Program for the Northwell Health Cancer Institute. In this role, she provides hands-on involvement in the recruitment, education and mentorship of future generations of physicians. Dr. Seetharamu trained in internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and in hematology/oncology at New York University Medical Center.
