Additionally, Rocha completed residency programs at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Ariz., and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He also has completed nine medical education certificates. Rocha has also taught clinical surgery students at the University of Missouri School of Medicine - Springfield Clinical Campus in Springfield, Mo..
