Nicole Sroka M.D. received her bachelor's degree in molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.She is a board-certified General Surgeon, specializing in Breast Surgery. Dr. Sroka is a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the Southeastern Surgical Society.Dr. Sroka has developed new oncoplastic techniques over her career to minimize scarring and improve cosmesis of the breast for both benign and malignant surgeries. Dr. Woo is a surgeon specializing in the treatment of breast cancer and breast related diseases. She is also interested in the management of patients with high risk for breast cancer. Dr. Evan Weitman, M.D., FACS, is a Surgical Oncologist at Piedmont Healthcare. Dr. Weitman earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and completed his residency in General Surgery at New York University. During his residency he also completed a 2-year research fellowship to study lymphedema at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He finalized his formal training with an additional 2-year fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.Dr. Weitman is board-certified in General Surgery and board-certified in Complex General Surgical Oncology by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology. Dr. Weitman is also Director of the Piedmont Melanoma and Sarcoma Clinic. Dr. Weitman's clinical focus is in surgical oncology; including the management of skin cancers such as melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma and merkel cell carcinoma. His special interests include the surgical management of locally advanced melanoma with a multimodality approach using oncolytic viral therapy (TVEC). He also has expertise in the surgical management of soft tissue tumors, gastrointestinal tumors including gastric and pancreatic cancer, and neuroendocrine tumors.
