Dr. William Garneau is a native of Durham, North Carolina. He graduated from Yale University with a degree in English and served as a middle school teacher in the Peace Corps in Namibia. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and earned a Master of Public Health at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
