Sheila S. Sherzoy
2301 Erwin Rd,
Durham, NC

Overview

I decided to pursue internal medicine because I have a passion for learning and for establishing meaningful connections with people. For me, being a great physician is all about practicing personalized patient-centered care. I believe that every person's medical experience should be tailored to not only their diagnoses but also to their level of education, socioeconomic status, culture and just their personality in general. I like to get to know my patients as people and understand how who they are affects their health. I want to work with patients to create a health care regimen that works for them and that easily integrates into the life they are already live. In my free time I enjoy Pilates, yoga and hiking. I also have a passion for travel and culture.
