Overview
Sleep issues have such a varied and far-reaching affect on patients - in their personal lives, the lives of their families and friends, their jobs, their past times... I am always glad when a patient has come in to see us at the sleep clinic, there are so many ways we can help. I am honored that patients trust us with their care. David Margelli is a board-certified physician assistant who received his medical training at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. A University of Washington graduate and former paramedic, Mr. Margelli started his PA practice in general cardiology in 1999. He has been practicing sleep medicine at Swedish since 2004 and is also the Director of Sleep Medicine Advanced Practice Clinicians. In addition, Mr. Margelli is also a clinical research investigator. The author of numerous articles on sleep topics, he is a frequent speaker at meetings for both community groups and medical providers. He has been an invited lecturer on sleep medicine at the American Academy of Physician Assistants national education conference.
