Overview
I am a neonatologist and am privileged to care for sick term and preterm infants who have difficulty after birth and require admission to the Duke Intensive Care Nursery. I am there to care for your baby from their first breath to ensure that the transition goes smoothly and care, if needed, is immediate. Some families face challenging diagnoses with their little ones, but assuring the family that we will be there for them with support and compassion during the process is invaluable. Resilience, compassion, and unconditional love are only a few values I have learned from my patients and their families. The neonatal intensive care unit is a unique place; we are all part of a big family, and I couldn’t be prouder to work alongside the most qualified medical providers in the nation. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and searching for great restaurants in the Triangle.
