Overview
I am fortunate to work with an exceptional team at Duke Health, and I love coming to work every day. I treat children with urologic concerns and adults with congenital urologic issues. Every day, I get to establish meaningful, working relationships with my patients and their loved ones. Helping children while doing stimulating, challenging work is the greatest joy of my life. I often refer to my practice as a team sport because of the importance of having patients and their caregivers on board with treatment plans. I strive to deliver collaborative, personable, and evidence-based care to each and every patient. I grew up in New Jersey but have enjoyed calling North Carolina home for the last decade. In my spare time, I am most often found traveling with my husband, playing with our two young children, and spoiling our Great Dane.

I love the team that I work with at Duke. As a nurse practitioner in pediatric urology, I feel as though I have sufficient time and support to care for all my patients and their families. Working at Duke allows me to collaborate with world-class members of the medical field and take advantage of cutting-edge research and innovations. I love seeing my patients each day. Working with children brings such joy to my day. I care for children with urologic concerns. I also provide urologic care for children and adults with spina bifida. I work very closely with my patients and their families to generate treatment goals and plans to best manage their conditions and concerns. I try to integrate the research that my team and I are involved with into the care I provide to ensure the most up-to-date treatment options for each child. After growing up in Maine, then practicing in New York City and California, my husband and I are happy to be settled in North Carolina. We enjoy running and hiking in all the wonderful parks nearby.
