Overview
Allison Herron, FNP-C, was born and raised in the Appalachian Highlands. Her deep-rooted connection to the community inspired her to pursue a career as a clinician, with her mother’s nursing background serving as a guiding influence. What she finds most fulfilling in her role is the ability to enhance patients’ quality of life and expand access to quality healthcare in a rural area. Herron’s treatment philosophy mirrors the golden rule: “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.” She firmly believes in the importance of listening to her patients, recognizing that understanding their stories is the first step to proper care.
