Overview
Soon Moon, DO, believes in treating every patient like family, a philosophy that shapes her approach to surgery and care. “When counseling a patient, I ask myself, ‘If this were my mother, what would I recommend?’” she says. Dr. Moon specializes in bariatric, foregut, minimally invasive and general surgery. She was born in South Korea and raised in San Antonio, Texas, before settling in the Appalachian Highlands. She was drawn to bariatric surgery for the opportunity to transform lives, and values listening closely to her patients to better understand their needs.
