Dr. Siwawa performed her internship and General Surgery residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York City, and completed a fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She has been in practice for 10 years, including in Brooklyn, NY and in Scranton, PA as well at here in Atlanta.Dr. Siwawa currently performs surgery at Wellstar Kennestone and Piedmont. She is an active member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and American College of Surgeons. She believes the Multidisciplinary Team approach when it comes to Breast cancer management.Dr. Siwawa enjoys spending time with her family. She also likes learning new languages and playing tennis and netball.
