Dr. Joan R. Hendricks

Cindy E. Bullock, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who specializes in the care of fractures, sports injuries, heel pain, and bunions. She finds it gratifying to share in each person’s path toward foot and ankle health. She looks forward to using her experience and training to work with each individual and provide them with effective, personalized care.Dr. Bullock worked for four years as a podiatric surgeon at ABQ Health Partners in New Mexico. She also served as chief of staff at Westside Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2008. She is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Washington State Podiatric Medical Association.She was born and raised in San Diego, California. She completed her undergraduate education in California. She lived in Canterbury, England while completing post-baccalaureate studies in medical biochemistry. Since then, her education and work as a podiatric surgeon have taken her to Pennsylvania, Utah, New Mexico, and now, Skagit Valley, Washington. When not working, she enjoys travel, hiking, and watching football. She is an avid fan of the San Diego Chargers. Rex Z. Nilson, DPM, has been practicing podiatric medicine and surgery in the Seattle area since 1984. He is also a 33-year board member and Treasurer of the International Foot & Ankle Foundation and was named podiatric physician of the year in 2018 by the Washington State Podiatric Medical Association.Dr. Nilson lives in the greater Seattle area with his wife, Torri, who is a journalist and a teacher. Philip Yearian, DPM, is a board-certified surgeon specializing in the lower extremity treatment of the foot and ankle. He believes that staying on the forefront of treatment involves educating his patients, which leads to better outcomes.While competing as a Division I Track and Field athlete in the 3000 meters Steeplechase and Cross Country at the University of Portland, his own injuries introduced him to some of the very treatments he uses today to get patients back on their way to a non-painful walk or ultra-marathon.His training involved specializing in both bone and plastic reconstructive surgery. After over twenty years in practice in Gig Harbor and Tacoma, Dr. Yearian has improved some of these very techniques, which now allow some patients to shorten their recovery and return to play or work sooner.Dr. Yearian coaches basketball at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School.
