Overview
Dr. Adrian Kress believes in creating a supportive and collaborative relationship. Moreover, he prioritizes his clients’ ability to make well-informed, evidence-based decisions about their mental health care. Dr. Kress offers evening hours to support our client’s busy schedules. He treats adult patients seeking evaluations for and management of psychiatric medications.
In the coming months, Dr. Kress will retire from the Army after twenty years of service. He received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He completed his psychiatry residency training with the National Capital Consortium, Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He completed fellowship training and achieved board-certified in Forensic Psychiatry. Additionally, he holds board certification in Clinical Pharmacology through the American Board of Clinical Pharmacology. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Kress’ has extensive clinical experience providing psychiatric care for patients with various psychiatric illnesses across multiple treatment settings. As such, his training prepared him to offer exceptional care to the members of our community.

She graduated from Mayo Medical School and received her M.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She completed pediatrics residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, general adult psychiatry residency at Columbia University/New York State Psychiatric Institute, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at NYU Child Study Center/Bellevue Hospital. She is the medical director of the Latino Family Clinic at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and a clinical consultant on the Maryland Behavioral Health Integration in Pediatric Primary Care (BHIPP), supporting the efforts of pediatric primary care providers to assess and manage the mental health needs of their patients. Her research interests include the implementation of mental health and family psychosocial screening in primary care pediatric settings, mental health promotion within primary care and community-based settings, and Latino mental health.
