Elizabeth L. Wells, NP
Overview
I realized at a very young age that I wanted to become a nurse. After I graduated from high school, I became a licensed practical nurse (LPN). In the years that followed, I continued both my career and education in nursing and became a nurse practitioner. I work at Duke Cancer Center with Dr. W. Robert Lee in Radiation Oncology. The majority of our patient population consists of men with prostate cancer. I believe that I am a hard-worker and have a caring personality with the ability to treat others with honesty, respect, and kindness. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children and their spouses, and our four grandchildren. We enjoy participating in outdoor activities and attending our grandchildren's sporting events.

I am excited to be a part of Duke Cancer Center and to help care for our patients and their families. I believe in caring for the whole person, not just the disease. I was born in Florida, but North Carolina is my home. My wife and I have two energetic boys. Outside of work, I enjoy running, traveling, and spending time with my family.
