Overview
Val Simianu, MD, specializes in surgery for conditions of the colon, rectum and anal canal, such as cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. He also treats pelvic floor problems such as prolapse and incontinence. He has specialty training in laparoscopic, robotic and trans-anal approaches for these conditions.Dr. Simianu works very closely with other specialists, such as gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiation oncologists and urogynecologists, to plan the best course of treatment for each patient.
