He is a member of the Spine Intervention Society whose mission is to develop and promote the highest standards for interventional pain procedures.After earning his medical degree from Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY, Dr. Wood completed his residency at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, NJ, and fellowship training in interventional spine and sports medicine at Coordinated Health in Pennsylvania, part of the Lehigh Valley Health Network. From 2016-2019, he served as Lehigh University’s spine specialist, taking care of athletes with spinal issues and injuries.
