Dr. Kathy Yu
Overview
I treasure the relationships I have built with my patients. As an ENT doctor, I have the unique opportunity to work with both children and adults. I aim to be a thorough physician who listens carefully to my patients. I try to educate patients so that the medical decision is a collaborative process that the patient can feel comfortable with. I offer a broad range of medical and surgical treatments that address ear infections, hearing loss, tonsil/adenoid disease, sinus/nasal disease, thyroid disorders, and head and neck cancers. Prior to joining NCEENT, I was in private practice in Chapel Hill for 11 years. I enjoy participating in charitable medical work in third-world countries, having worked in Jamaica, Vietnam, and Haiti on several occasions. My interests outside of medicine, including spending time with my husband and two daughters, CrossFit, piano, tennis, and running.
